    Default Mesa 8I20

Could you drive one axis "one leadscrew" with two 750 watt Ac servos driven by one mesa 8I20 with a encoder on the leadscrew for feed back?
    Thanks

That does not look quote right as its for 3 phase motors and 750 Watt are usually single phase. Normally you would use a 7i77 and end up with a few spare controllers and encoders.

I though all Ac servos were 3 phase.
    I am positive mine a 3 phase.

AdamD, you could verify with Mesa, they are very responsive.

rodw, I believe AdamD is referring to the motor being 3 phase, not the drive. AC servo motors certainly come in sizes smaller than 750 W, I have some on hand that are less than 60 W.
