Default Schneeberger absolute linear encoders with LinuxCNC/Mesa boards

    Hi,
I'm building a custom CNC mill, and would like to use Schneeberger linear rails with absolute encoder together with LinuxCNC+Mesa boards (e.g. 7I44 or 7I47).
I've gotten a quote for the following encoder configuration, and would like to ask if anybody can see any issues with this combination:

    1 x AMSABS 4B S 30 -N -G2 -KC -R11 -1198 -39 -39 -CN -TA1
    1 x AMSABS 4B W 30 -C -P3-G2 -V3 -R2-CN-S22-LV-TMH-TB1

    Encoder configuration:

    TSS cycle synchronous serial interface(SSI)
    29 Bit code length
    0-26 Position bits
    27 warn bit
    28 error bit
32µs timeout (break between sending measuring data)
    Binary encoding
    0,78µm resolution

I haven't used LinuxCNC with absolute encoders before, so I'm worried that I end up with a combination that won't work togehter.

Should not be an issue, We have a number of customers using SSI encoders for a few years now.
