    Default Different screw pitches

Sorry for the basic question but having never used Linux CNC but I am preparing to build a CNC milling machine, can LinuxCNC cope with different motor to linear movement ratio's?

I thought it's better to check before the build!

Yes most controls can do this but it is always best to have the main 2 axes X and Y axes with the same pitch ballscrews or what ever you are using
