Thinking of building a mill column for my Unimat DB200 that I've bought cnc parts for. I would like more throw than the stock spindle which is about an inch. So I was thinking of using one of these rails and one of the slides with a small spindle attached to it.It appears that the bearing length is about twice that of the others I've looked at. I wasn’t sure if it would be stable enough...Any thoughts pro or cons on this are welcome.
