Mobilux EP1 is cheap, and readily available. It's listed in the Hiwin Lubrication manual.
I have a DIY CNC router sporting 1605 ball screws, SBR16 round linear rails, and HGR15 profile rails. I would like to use a single grease for all of these if possible.
This is not a high speed machine and not in continuous use.
So after some research I'm looking at Mobilith SHC 220 grease. Is this a good choice? Should I go perhaps lower viscosity SHC 100? Or some other product?

For some reason some of my research steered me away from EP greases.
Got to trust the manufacturer in this case.
Thx!
I have always understood that EP or hypoid oils should never be used in gearboxes that used bronze or brass components because the additives can react badly with these metals, I assume this is true of greases as well. Dave
