Default Advice on Bearing for 24" Rotary Table?

    Hello!

I'm working on a project that will have a 24" diameter steel plate that need to rotate smoothly. Can someone suggest some options regarding bearings? Prefer not crazy expensive. I've looked at some axial bearings. There will be around 100-150lb on top.

    Thanks

    Randy

PS This will be a horizontal table. Like a turntable.

How about a heavy truck tapered wheel bearing, normally the inner bearings are pretty large.

A little less accurate but cheap https://www.vxb.com/1000-lbs-Capacit...-p/kit8999.htm

Jim, taking your advice I went with a Dodge RAM 3500 wheel hub assembly (new), on ebay for $30 shipped.:-) it's a bit stiff but plenty rigid. Thanks

I may buy a rotor to use as a mounting plate.

Happy the hear it will work for you. $30 is a heck of a deal. It will loosen up after a few hundred miles
