I believe the Acetel is firmer resulting in less backlash but it's going to be microscopic. The specs for each type/item should list how much. Acetel has low friction and is very machinable and is more common for CNC uses. Depending on the machine, you most likely won't see any real differences between the two, especially for hobby use if the hub tolerances are pretty much the same.
