So, I have a used ES-MH234120 (12N.m torque, 1700 oz.in).
What I'm trying to figure out is would it be worth using it as a Spindle motor on a manual mill (Being converted to CNC) in place of the Dayton 1.5HP 220V AC motor). Wanting to lower the weight on the Z axis before I stick an actual servo drive for Z/X/Y movement.
If not, can anyone here recommend a good servo drive that would work well for a Spindle drive, preferably in the 1.5-2HP range?
