Actually, you generally get one analog output on a breakout board, that converts a PWM signal to an analog voltage to control your spindle speed.
If you have two boards with this feature, you can only use one of them, as there is only one PWM output in the control software.
The UC300 motherboard does have analog inputs and outputs that you can use without a breakout board. I'm using the inputs to control feedrate and spindle speed overrides. I'm not sure what you'd use those analog outputs for, or even how to use them.

After spending time on other parts of the CNC build I finally got around to soldering wires into the 44 pin terminals. Delicate work for sure, and my basic soldering iron didn't make it any easier. Having a hard time figuring out why on earth Leadshine would use a 44 pin connector when they only need 8 pins, but at least this bit is over with now.

Spent a bit more time laying out wiring. I want to make everything as tidy as possible so I'm going back and forth making sure cables are the right lengths and planning good routes for them. Any feedback on how I'm doing would be appreciated. Breakout boards should arrive soon, so far I've got 220 power run to the drivers, connected wires from the easy servos to their repective terminals, and I've started planning my pin allocations from the UC300 to their corresponding pins on the drivers. One question I had, since the negative pins coming from the leadshine drivers are all going to ground, should they all get their own separate ground pin or could they go to one common ground? I'm asking because I can fit all the inputs and outputs on a single 25 pin port, but I'm a few pins short for grounds.

I'm still in the process of figuring out final wiring and what breakout board would fit in best. In the meantime I ordered some 25 pin d sub connectors with a screw terminal outputs as I thought they could be useful for initial testing or for I/O that don't need extra features.

I may be wrong, but since my drivers have optioisolation built in, will my UC300 be safe if I use these connectors directly between the motion controller and drivers? I'm thinking I could swap a more advanced breakout board in after for double protection and extra features.

Please forgive the rats nest. I'm leaving the wires long while I test everything out.
