Chinese Laser, LaserCut 5.3 - y cutting shifts
We're running a GWeike laser now about half an year. All of a sudden the machine does not properly realign the y-axis. Cuts which should be at the same height get a difference of up to 3-4 mm. We did: inspect, clean the belts, the tension looks good, contact of the motor plug looks good. We decreased the speed - until all in vain.
What else can be done? Increase the tension? Exchange motors? (xy to yx)? Software?
Software? Windows 7/64, lasercut 5.3 compatibility applied. The data is normally imported from CorelCAD 2017 file format export as dxf R2000-2002 ASCII.
If you know another good data flow like out of Adobe Illustrator version?, file format version? etc. pls tell us - Thanks

Replace the y axis motor! had the same problem on my X axis motor and replacing it cured the problem. same type of laser as yours also.

It could just be that the motor needs tuning. Leetro (the people who make the control system that Lasercut 5.3 talks to) have got a driver and motor tuning package availabel for download from their site. I've not used it, but I'm abaout to download it and see if it's something that'll work with other drivers as well - the link is here.

Hello
Firs recomendation , put the laser head at the center of work area with power ON , machine should be energized, took the laserhead with your hand and try to move from fron to rear and reverse , if it has loose movement then the pulley screw are loose , you need to thight, , other could be belt loose , adjust wit edge screws, if laserhead is not loose the driver could be proble
