Aligning Fiber coupler (Fiber collimator)
Sorry if I use the wrong terms I am brand new to anything related to Lasers.
My coupler needs to be centered/aligned.
My Laser is IR (Infrared) 808nm so it is not visible.
Here is what the manufacturer has to say about it.
The Fiber Optics patch cord attaches to the FC connection but if the coupler is not centered/aligned I will be in trouble.
I could possible see some method if the laser was visible.
It has been suggested by the manufacturer that I use a Laser Power Meter.
How would that work.
Thanks for all of the help and any comments.

A video camera (webcam, cell phone etc.) will probably see 808nm.

Thank you, I will see if my cell phone will work.
I will make up a target.
Would I have to put a lens or collimator on to the FC connection?
I know next to nothing about Lasers.

The most important thing you need to know about lasers is that they can make you blind in a fraction of a second. Safety first!

Yeah, thanks again. I bought the suggested goggles the seller recommended.
They are advertised as providing protection for the 808nm IR.
The box had labels for the claimed coverage but there was no certification on the goggles themselves, these are $45.00 goggles.
They have a light green tint.
I am leary/paranoid.
The thing is it would be too late if the goggles failed the damage would be done.
So I am moving slowly on firing the laser up.
Thanks again for the replies.
