Hello all,
I am getting the Error Code 000 IVT: 30000000 everytime I turn my Explorer II on now.
I was doing some cutting one day and left machine on at night and it went into standby mode.
The next day I came out to cut and pushed button to wake it up and it was locked up.
I powered the machine down and turned back on and now get this code.
I have pulled the power and let it sit but still same error. I cant really find any info on the code and needing some help to move in the right direction to fix it.
Thanks in advance
Shane
Has anyone ever figured this out? I am totally brand new and just fired up a used machine. It was working when I purchased it and then we loaded it and took it back to our shop. It has set there for about 2 years before we finally got the electric in and ready to roll
I got my hands on a secondhand laserpro spirit - same family and control type as the explorer.
On startup, it also gave the IVT:300000000 message and keep resetting over and over.
thanks to https://www.engraversjournal.com/legacyarticles/2564/, it turned out to be the X limit switch
on figure 12 of the article it is shown as a yellow tab, on my machine it is a black metal tab fixed by a hex screw.
This screw was loose causing the tab to droop slightly downwards.
Just enough that the limit switch test fails, causing a system panic/reset.
refixing the tab correctly solved the issue and allow a complete startup.
the IVT message was not important nor a error, just a cryptic hello from the machine
Information on the system is sparse and dated
