k40 laser with lasercut 5.3 software

Hi everyone, is it possible to change the board from the chinese k40 laser so it can work with lasercut 5.3 software?
Can someone help me with this.

Hi Ron,seems K40 laesr machine is laser engraving machine.You want to transfer a engraving machine into a cutting machine,yes?
