    Default RD Works V8.18.01

I am using Rd works and I am trying to do the same design equally spaced on the front and back of a tumbler on my rotary chuck. In order to center the design up with another feature on the tumbler I am trying to use absolute in the work coordinate setting. When i do this i am getting an error message " Data out of work area". If I use the current position or any other setting it doesnt give me the error but it shifts the location off center and misaligns the design. Any help would be appreciated.

    Data out of work area.

This means that you have created a project that fits the space, but you have moved the origin point to a place that the rest of the project will not fit into the laserqble work space.

Also pay attention that the laser head will need to swing additional length for acceleration and deceleration of the focal head scan function.

The option of absolute coordinates is used so that the design cut is made in the exact position in which it is in the design software grid. It would be necessary to analyze more the design and the way in which you handled it, but unless you change the size of the grid it will give you errors. I recommend you take out the area of the glass and design in plane using the current position option.
