Hello.

I'm having a strange issue at work. I run several FSL(Yueming) Laser arrays, cutting and etching primarily thin wood vaneers.
Recently we purchased a new computer for my laser room, and when I try and import dxf files into Smartcarve 4.3.10.1200806 from our server in the front office I get an error "DXF file is error"

I'm confused by this because when I do the exact same thing on our old computer it works just fine. Also if I copy the dxf file to the computer first and then import it I don't get the error, but this is not ideal from a production standpoint.

Both computers are running windows 8.1, which I don't care for but it's not up to me. Both are networked wirelessly. The server is a mac server and the computers I use are PC, again this is not my choice.


Things I have tried already.
-Compatibility modes.
-Running as administrator.
-Different versions of Smartcarve.
-Updating the server software.
-Attempting to ask Yueming Lasers, but as yet they have not responded to my email.
-Carefully going through the Smartcarve settings to try and identify anything that could help.

I'm hoping someone here has had the same problem and solved it.
