Cloudray Laser power supply T100 Shorts digital GND and Earth GND

Hi! I just bought a new T100 Plus CO2 power supply from cloudray and I noticed that the Fisical GND or Earth GND and the digital GND are connected together. When I test them with a multimeter for continuity it beeps, so they are connected together, is this normal? I'm asking this because I've been having lots of problems with a CO2 laser cutter and I'm trying to find where the problem might be.
