Unhappy Laser tube supplier for Europe... with warranty?

    Hi,
I have had two 80w CO2 laser tube broken in less then three monthes

The first time I was using a simple aquarium pump in a large bucket I didn't know I had to care too much for air bubbles so probably air bubble caused the tube to explode...
So we replaced the tube, we bough a CW3000 chiller and were super careful about air bubbles, but after just a few hours of use, power suddenly dropped down and we could find a crack in the laser tube! I am sure their were no air bubbles and the temperature stated by the cooler was 19°C.

Do I have a problem with my laser tube provider?
Do you think I should have my whole installation checked? Does anyone have clues on who could do that in Belgium (Brussels)?

Can you advise me with a reliable laser tube provider, preferably with a warranty?

Any information will be much appreciated!

I can recommend lightobjects.com. Marco, the owner is very friendly and service minded.

We bought a RECI w6 tube that worked for 10 minuts before the arc penetatred the inner tube. We had a replacement within a week.

Thank you for the link Guldberg, unfortunatly, lightobject seems to be based in california, shipping to europe is most likely very expensive.

Thank you Exalaser, can you provide me with a quote for a RECI laser tube suitable to replace my 80w laser, including shipping to Belgium?

    Hi gillespinault
You better do not believe in EXLASer`s offers.
Two years ago we bought laser machine with Reci from this factory.
After long time hard work we decided to scrap it.
As we are resellers this "product" was unfitted for anything else.
We did not get any help from seller (EXLASer).
    Regards

Hey TIE, do you have a site?
Hate posts with "Trust me I know what I'm doing, I'm an Engineer"

BTW, I am selling canned fog as well as bottled Snake Oil

Don't get fooled, the CW3000 is NOT a chiller. It is a fake one because there is no AC compressor. If you use it to drive a 80W tube in a garage, the water temperature will rise up to 50'C in 10~15min!!
Wost enough that the temperature pro does not really 'touch' water direct but through an insulation, so if you read, say 30'C, the actual temperature could be as high as 35'C or higher.
Stay away the CW3000. It is good for 40W or lower tube or if you location with room temperature is cold enough, say 20'C or lower!

We reject to sell a laser tube without signing a wavie form to accept less warranty period. For a100W, we will drop the warranty from 1yr to 3months only. We found that CW3000 could cause a lot issue. It may not kill the tube instantly but it will 1) shorter the life span 2) lower cutting perfomance.
