Kitamura Mycenter 0 Conversion to single-phase
This week I'll have a Mycenter 0 delivered, and I will have to convert it to single-phase power. I don't think it will be a difficult job, however I won't know until the machine arrives.
It has the 16-tool changer, and the 8000RPM spindle option. It has the YASNAC MX-3 control, and has been recently serviced. It does not have a hydraulic unit. It is currently wired for 208V 3-phase power.
Anyone here been down this road before?

How did this go?
I am looking at newer versions of these with yasnac I80 controls. The drive manuals do not specify single phase operation, but that doesn't mean it wont work, often you can just derate 2/3.
The haas TM0 seems to be the only affordable new machine with single phase operation, but it is also too big and kinda slow and low performance in comparison to the newer mycenters or a converted brother. (and 8x the cost)
