Yes, When you order the plans you get forum access and further downloads for the Evolution machine.

    Thanks,

Been a little while since posted, we have many new builds of the standard evolution machine and also some large versions.

    John's 13'x6' Evolution.

These two are being built at The University of South Florida College of The Arts and School of Architecture and Community Design.

Hey Joe & everyone. I am a newbie here and was about to put down some serious money on the "CNCRouterparts.com" kit. But trying to weigh my options here.
Anyway you can tell me the foot print of the 4x4 machine once built? I need to figure out if it will fit in the space I have for it.
I have seen here that it will cost about $3200 to build. I was wondering if that estimate was with Electronics or without?
Also I see you sell a kit for the 4x4 Hybrid, is that the same as what you refer to as the "evolution" or is that a totally different machine?
I am assuming that if I purchase the kit or have it cut here locally, it is a matter of sourcing out the Metal parts and putting in the electronics? Is it fairly easy to put together?
Last question, Can I just change the size of unit just by making it shorter or longer? So in the future if I wanted to make the 4x4 a 4x8, can I just extend it by 4 more feet?

    Thanks.

Is there a chart or a comparison on the different machines? I don't see what the differences are and what advantages one has over the other. For the 4x4 and the evolution and the Hybrid etc etc..

    Is there such a thing??

    Thanks.

The first Hybrid machine was a leadscrew version, in some areas (cold weather) he anti-backlash nuts would contract and bind when cold. and then the machine went to rack and pinion which was simpler and less prone to any problems for some., Now the Evolution machine is out and most people are building it which is a full metal machine, and more robust.

    Thanks,
    Joe

The one with the red buttons are from cncrouterparts.com, that is also when we get the rack and pinion kit and some get their electronics from there also helps save on shipping.

    Thanks,

That's what I thought. The prices there are ridiculous though.

It is not just a regular e-chain this is an open e-chain, meaning you can flip open each link open and place the cable inside then snap it closed, I have found this allot more useful than trying to feed wires inside the chain, especially when adding more wires at a later date.

    Thanks,
    Joe

Joe, Sent you a PM but didn't get a reply... Are you still selling the aluminum plates and bearing adjusters for the Evo?
