I believe that is a Fiber Classics Eurosport.

    Paul,

I don't know if you fly RC but if you want to fly your homebuilt engine under AMA insurance you have to use the cast turbine wheel and get an AMA wavier from a select group of people that will check out your plane and your flying skills before they issue it to you, but if you have a private field anything goes. All the big meets are AMA santioned so if you want to fly at one you'll have to get the wavier.

Here is a sold works of the Kj66

Yes I fly R/C helicopters and planes, I can get a wheel cast that would not be a problem.

Time Thats a tough one as I did it all the machining half an hour at a time using my lunch break and maybe 10 hrs. at home on the CAD I'll say a total of 80+ hours not counting the dies I made for the combustion chambers. I might be selling some chambers on ebay if interested let me know.

Some of the stuff I've modeled. Apart from the compressor all parts are to spec. I'll post the files when I' done.

    Nice NIK!!!!!!!

    Paul,

I only have chambers for kj66 type turbines. Turbines with 66mm turbine wheels. If you are really interested I'm not sure on a price yet. Did you get the working turbine file I sent you?

I've drawn the KJ-66 engine using Inventor but never milled one yet, don't think my mini-mill could handle SS. More pics of model at http://www.fusionxstudio.com/mcad.html

Great model, I've seen your site. Any chance you might post the files in the forum?

Hi, I´ve been searching for complete my KJ-66 plans and found this forum where your drawing attract my attention; I have some problems with my design because I have diagrams for the most parts of KJ-66 turbines; however, I don't have any reliable reference for the compressor and turbine wheel.
Can someone help me with this information?

Hmmm, those two are tough. I'm trying to find the KKK compressor, so I made a half-descent model just for completion reasons. The turbine should be easier to make, the blades are just extruded airfoil shapes. Now, what airfoil would be good I have no idea...

I am in the process(long) of making a couple of KJ's and someone was looking for the compressor and turbine. I have one turbine which came from Wren in the UK. The part number on it is 04270204 and you can contact Sarah at Wren. The compressor's are from Detrich Albisser in Switzerland and the part number is 53261232038, Company name Schwitzer. If you need the email address for Dieter I will go back through my files and post it.
If you make one and want to fly it in a model you will require a certification for the turbine which will come with it when you purchase it. That is the reason I believe it does not have the dim. with the diagrams.
I have been working on mine for about 2 years and is why I am here. Always wanting to learn new ways for making parts. I have also buit a spot welder and small roller for the combustion chambers. I am now making an EDM for some other items and will want to convert it to CNC when done. Any questions and I would happy answer from my limited knowledge.
It is nice seeing your work on your turbines.
    John
