Hyundai Hit-18s with siemens 840c ERROR 9208 Spindle not in set range.

I was running parts, 2 done 4 to go, After 3rd piece was put in chuck, I pushed start and walked away. I came back expecting a finished part and machine was just sitting there with the spindle turning (looked a little slow) doing nothing. error on screen was # 9208 " spindle not in set range" All I can find on this error is to check the G26 and G92 set points. G26 = 4600 and G92 is at 1500. Machine should have been at 363 RPM and it was showing 212. Power off - reboot, same thing. I cannot find anything on spindle speed calibration or any trouble shooting on this error. HELP.

Working, I pushed on all the connectors on the simodrive. And it started working, Will update again soon. Going to shut down, pull and re-seat all the plugs.

Re-seating all the connectors did seem to help a little more. Error is now at 0.4% At 1000 RPM machine reads 996 RPM.

Pretty sure our 15s & 18s lathes are about the same 5-10rpm ut at 1000rpm. You could always check the reading against a tacho & make sure that it's running at the same rpm the control thinks its running at
