Default HPR 130 Manual Gas problem

    Hi,

I have a HPR 130 with manual gas console that mid cut today has lost all power to the gas console numerical displays and status lights.

The green light in the console power switch as well as the green AC indicator will still illuminate and the two 6" and the 10" fans will run also run with the console turned on but the preflow/cut flow and status/amps/error switches do not illuminate or make any change to the lack of lights on the gas console.

I have checked all visible fuses in the console and the main circuit board in the power source which are all fine. So before I dive into the wiring diagrams and lose a larger amount of time, do any of the above symptoms sound familiar to someone that might be able to point me in the right direction to diagnose this sudden stop?

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Tim

Default Re: HPR 130 Manual Gas problem

For anyone else who might suffer similar symptoms, the power distribution board in the gas console had dropped the 5v output and thus would not progress with the startup cycle of the power source.

Thanks Hypertherm for an extremely non discriptive operations manual.
