    Default Hurco KMB1

    Hi,
I’ve an original 1980 unmodified machine and cannot get the power button to latch COR relay.
Master tape loads, air is up, etc, but when the master has run, the JP3-2 pin on the interface doesn’t go low and hold the relay latched.

Any ideas on how to proceed?

    Thanks

Well I fixed this with various integrated circuits and transistors and now have a fully operational original machine complete with parajust motor variable frequency drive. (Just for the record, this is an original tape drive controller, without serial port and so cannot use G code.)

If there anyone out there who can recall how to programme it?
I have the manual, and can do most things, but seems to have a problem with using a cutter compensated profile inside a loop/repeat. The loop/repeat machines fine if I use centre of tool programming, but applying tool compensation results in some extreme positioning errors of the profile start.

Any clues would be gratefully appreciated.
