BMC40 Positioning error

hi again back with a new error
trying to calibrate my bmc40 with utimax 3 control. it calibrates the axis fine but the x axis moves to its limit then as it moves back i get the error "error positioning to marker on x axis" ive tried numerous times but cant get past it i can move the axis without calibration and everythign moves as it should.
anyone she any light on a way round this

Limit switch not working on that axis

It goes to the limit and stops and it appears on the screen to say its working. Once it reaches the limit it moves away from it in the calibration cycle and that's when it stops the motion and comes up with the above error

Hi cnc-exit i will have to check the software version and get back to you but its definetly ultimax 3.

Ir can bethat parameters not set good. You need make copy of harddrive.

I have my copy that working.
But soft must be same. Because key not work.

I had a similar problem on a hurco hawk with max3. Ended up being a bad ground in the limit switch that never let the machine know it had come off the switch after making contact.
