Can KM3P operator panel be easily removed for shipping?

I bought a KM3P and with the control arm on it is 96" front to back. Can KM3P operator panel be easily removed for shipping? It looks like it would shorten it by a couple of feet. Possible? How difficult?

Well I didn't hear anything in time and it turns out that the control panel can be removed DURING SHIPPING! I guess an unplanned control retrofit is in my future.
