HURCO VM1 4th/5th axis table
Hi
I am buying a HURCO VM1 2010, its a 3 axis machining center.
other option is HAAS VF-0E
Question is , Will it be possible to add 4th/5th HAAS rotary table later to these machines ? does the controller have the option to do so ?
thanks

I would contact Hurco with that question probably email them with the serial number and they can answer that question. But even if you can thats a pretty small machine so you would need to find a pretty tiny 5 axis rotary

haas VF-0E has 36 inch table with working 30"
i think it would fit a standard rotary table,
but you are right about HURCO.

16 inches in the Y axis, And you have to be real careful of the tool changer. Depending on the orientation of the rotary table. Things get in the way quickly, the covers, the cables, the part and fixture. Is the tool changer Umbrella style or Side mount Arm?

I’ve fitted a few little Nikken 5 axis tables to VM1 &10 machines. Lately, I’ve fitted Kitagawa TT101 tables. Sweet little units.
