I have three HobbyCNC boards. NONE of them are working, two have been repaired and have quit the second time.
Suggestion: maybe Gecko?
good luck!
Hi All,
I have a HobbyCNC Pro board with problems.
The Y Axis Does not work.
Is there a diagnostic process I can follow to determine if the problem is with the SLA7078MR controller or with some other part of the board.
I have dialogue with the group on yahoo but I guess they have the weekend off .
I post here as a matter of urgency. Any help would be appreciated.

What repairs did you do

We would have to ask kreutz, a member here, he did the repairs. Pretty sure power transistors and driver chips.
Save your money and effort, the repairs did well on the test board but didn't last till God had the news that I'd applied power while connected to a machine.
I'm probably the wrong person to be talking with about this as I have ZERO confidence in this product.
Again, good luck! And if you can get more than cursory assistance you will have done better than I.
