HayTay - have any more "complex" like greater than 8x8, 10x10, etc?
Very cool. Thanks for sharing that!

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.

Here are a couple of standard picture size puzzles if anyone is interested. The attached are 5"x7", 35 piece and 8"x10", 80 piece puzzles. Again, both puzzles are provided in their assembled and exploded versions. The puzzles can be rotated from the provided portrait view to landscape orientation using almost any application that can process a DXF file.
I hope someone finds these useful,

Thanks for posting these again. Very cool and helpful.
Right-O. I'm glad someone (else) found a use for them. I think they're fairly nifty, even if I do say so, myself.
It'd sure be nice if someone posted a picture of a finished puzzle that was cut from one of sizes provided. Hmmm, maybe I'll have to take the time and cut one as a present for somebody I know.
Cheers,
HayTay

That's what I'm doing with it. I have a laser cutter and am going to make puzzles from wood for my nephew for his birthday.
WOW!
That is cool, Great work!
.
Great quality work, the stand off creates a good effect. Edwin? ACP5080.
What font did you use? It's nice and informal.
Nice work Ed, now if you put some lighting behind the stainless out of direct view it would look really cool at night, something like those cold cathode lamps the PC modders seem to like.

Thnx, i think the font i used was Batavia...all caps...i can look it up for you if you want. Some fonts like Bauhaus or Laser can be used to cut out the characters without any modification. But those fonts are bit boring. Most effort must be put in finding the right font, and modify it for laser purposes (like seperating the characters D, A & 8 so the middle wont fall out)
I have over 500 fonts to choose from in the lasersoftware.
For the lighting behind the plate.....bit too much for my taste
Ppl passing the house must not get the idea there's a pub on 38

That's nice work, what is it made out of? Looks like metal.

Hello guys! Sorry for reposting to this old thread. HayTay you made something I find very useful. Thank you very much. May I ask what software do you used for these puzzles? Thanks.
