va-40 Micron 8 troubleshooting

Looooog story short I had the ol girl starting up and running fine......albeit I still hadn't run any programs.

Today she starts up but the drives wont go into ready state...nothing moves, will not home, zero ,nada.
So using the side panel I start going down the list checking out stuff.
They say" o" is no signal " 1" is a signal being sent

so if my lube is sending out a "1" does that mean its Ok or does it mean calling for help??
Lube is full.......

Well..............I have solved my problem...it was a parameter change i made...was trying to get the lower case symbols to work with the abs/inc key as the shift key...
For some reason that messed up the start sequence??? who knows why.....

Still would like to know about the 0 and 1
