Bubble memory

bubble memory........do I have it? do I need it? I bought a "bubble memory" board off ebay.....how and were do I hook it up to my VK-45?

Why would you buy something you don't even know if your machine is old enough to use it?

The last controls I know of to use bubble were Fanuc 10/11 series and Okuma 5000 controls. Both stopped by very early 90s.

it is a part for Hitachi Seiki and it was cheap. Bubble memory is mentioned several time in the manuals for my mill and there is a connection on the m16-2 main board
