Enable parameter writing parameter 6219

I have a Hitachi Seiki HT40 lathe with Seicos Multi Interactive control. I am trying to adjust the X axis backlash. I need to enable parameter 6219 by changing from a zero to a 1. It will not change. It appears I have to set a rotary switch on the main circuit board of the control to allow this change to happen.
I do not have a maintenance manual showing the correct setting to do this. Any ideas?

Bud,
You shouldn’t have to rotate the switch. As long as you have the parameter write under the SET menu enabled and you’re in MDI mode it should work for backlash settings.

I did not try to search down under the Set tab. I was looking in the PRM tab. I will give it a try.
