    Hello
    I need to apply 4 inclined surfaces per scanning element on a drill grid. ( similar to a thread with 4 gears with a inclination of 50 but only 4 mm deep) the whole thing only works with G141, Unfortunately the machine backs out after the tool is engaged with G0 ‘tolerance margin C axis too big’

    I have already tried the feed limitation (F2) but it only works on G1.
    All G0 to G1 with large feed is therefore useless as the feed limitation (F2) interferes.
    Do you know any other possibility to limit the rapid feed apart from choking the rapid feed Poti to 40%?

    You could try to change the G0 sets to G1 and control the feed F2 over the parameter like the feeds from g1 f2 over the parameter. Then you also have more flexibility if you need to adjust anything.
    Otherwise I would say software error or error in the programming manual =)

    Is it really only possible with G141 to mill the surfaces?

    Hi scootworks
    I guess they forget to tell that to the control system of our machine and the SIM software. With both the feed goes into the 5 digit area even F2=100 is programmed.
    I help myself by limiting G0 with F6.


    Is it really only possible with G141 to mill the surfaces?

    Of course you can also define the tool with the inclination angle and run a ellipse arch. However i find the inclination looks better if I follow the drift with the tool.
