    Hey
My machine is crazy at the moment. When I get the chamfer countersink out to mill the drill holes with it, the machine suddenly stops and the program breaks off.

The note “external Emergency Stop” or the speed decreases from 6000 to 2000.

What could be the reason for this?

    Hello

These details are not enough- what machine, controller have you got?

Does it happen with every single program or only particular ones?

Are there any other (more exact) error messages?

    Machine: Mikron VCP 1000

    Controller: Heidenhain TNC 430

The program is generalized and usually runs without problems. Only with the chamfer countersink these problems occur. The error messages are various. Sometimes the protection door is open or external emergency stop comes up or even no error message- then the engine speed just decreases. I often have problems to close the door, the machine always shows the error “protection door component part”.

How large is your "chamfer countersink"?
Maybe it has too much power.

I don’t think that it’s because of the size.

Maybe the door protection switch has a loose connection in the cable or maybe it doesn’t close properly anymore.
