HELP NEEDED

in need of some help!!!

i have a 1998 Harrison alpher 330 plus lathe, my laptop that was running it went "pop" (it wasn't connected to the lathe at the time) so fortunately i have another
laptop running Windows XP that run may laser.

once i'd loaded all the soft wear on it i tested it out on the lathe, the lathe was working fine but it just said waiting to "receive program"
but the laptop had sent it, the end result was i turned the lathe off to think about it.

i later found out it was the COM ports that didn't match, but because i'd turned the lathe off when it was waiting to receive the program
i now have a "PROGRAM ALARM" that i can't clear.

any help would be much appreciated. as i have a job waiting to be done!!!

i also have a copy of all the soft wear if any body needs a copy.
