CHNC 1 loose turret plate

I recently changed my top plate on my chnc 1 and now there is about 1/4" of play in it. The bolts are all tight and it indexes fine but with minimal pressure it will turn about a 1/4". Is there an adjustment for this?

Your stop pin is not coming in. First guess would be dirt and swarf in the pin or air cylinder.

Thanks for the reply. Does the pin engage the top plate directly or does it engage the piston that rises and turns which the top plate is bolted to? Trying to figure out if I could have gotten some dirt in there when I changed the top plate.
