Default Hardinge Gang tooling help. Getting rid of Turret

My air system for the machine has far too many leaks to continue conversion to EMC (not finished) I'm think of getting rid of the turret and other air controls.

Do you know of any gang tooling solutions for my 1986 Hardinge lathe HCNC I

    No answer yet?

Maybe this might help you fix it until you figure out a gang tool setup:

There were some aftermarket companies that made a gang tooling setup that clamped to the ways and had a set of ball screws on it. I have one that needs the linear rails rebuilt.

I got a good deal on it but I haven't touched the CHNC that I got for years. I would like to get the turret working and remove the air motors and change for steppers or servos or something.

The turret that came with my lathe was in pieces when I got it and didn't have any tooling plates so and I have not seen the tooling plates for a reasonable price anywhere. Although I haven't looked in a long time.

PS, the other big down side is that it was missing the collet closer and I have never seen one for sale anywhere either.

HGR Surplus has a handful of the turret plates for sale right now. Not sure if they're for the DSM, HC, or the CHNC but I know they've got a few.
