Hardinge T42 - G76 Sub-Spindle Problem

Had a problem running G76 Thread cycle on Sub-Spindle today.
Cycle would run but cut bad threads.
Thought maybe bad encoder.
Switched to G92 cycle and thread is fine.

Is there something I need to cancel after Main to Sub transfer to make G76 work on the Sub?
Or does G76 just not work on the Sub?
