VF2 Tool Changer

Hi all

Would there be a way to run a tool change without the machine trying to remove a tool from the spindle.

I have a broken pocket which I don't use because the tool changer gets stuck. I need to get it fix but in the short term I've been avoiding using that location, one of the operators didn't know about this and changed a tool into it.

Every time I try to change the tool the machine wants to put the tool in the spindle back in that pocket, I've seen a Haas guy change the tool without putting one back in the carousel.

I don't know if I need to toggle a parameter or something, I can't think of the correct words to google to find an answer.

Any ideas would be welcome
