Are you trying to store files on the controller or pull files from Haas? SMB protocols are required to enable users to communicate with the remote computer/servers.
I've been working on using a Raspberry Pi Zero W as file storage device for our HAAS VF2's we have. I've successfully been able to access the User Data folder from the Pi but when I try to setup the Net share it fails. It appears I'm only getting one way communication which is unusual. I'm able to ping the HAAS from the Pi Zero.
When I'm setting up the Net Share I'm following the HAAS guide but with no luck, local HAAS app guy has no experience with networking a Linux based computer.
Anyone had luck with this?

I want to store my machine files on the raspberry Pi Zero then upload to machine as required using HAAS's Net Share. SMB is loaded and configured on the Pi.
Success finally, I re-imaged my Pi Zero with a different configuration and Netshare is working. The only issue I have now is the HAAS will not scroll through the files, the accessing net share popup doesn't go away. My test files show up on the screen but I cannot select, I've confirmed that the directory on the Pi Zero has full read write permissions by anyone.
