Spindle rotate while door open

Hello Friends,

Im working on Haas VF-2-I Machine.
According to Haas its possible to rotate spindle maximum of RPM 750 while door is open.
This feature essential for using edge finder.
But my machine cant rotate the spindle while door is open.
I search for setting number 292. Its not on the controller.

Appriciate someone can help me.

If your machine is newer then 2016 and has software newer the 100.17.000.XXXX then that setting no longer exists. Unfortunately you cannot run the spindle with the doors open.

The software version is 100.19. I will try to override the sensors. The feature is very useful while using edge finder.

Yes that is the only way you have to trick the door prox switches

I put a separate stick on the door switch of my old VF-2. It's inside the slot all the time and I can open the doors during work if necessary. Of course, I don't open them during milling, but sometimes this option is good.
