Does anyone here have any experience with a Mini Mill with the 10,000rpm grease packed spindle option? I'm going to be ordering a MM2 and I really think I'd like that option just to speed up some work with smaller tools but the 10K spindle really cuts down the available torque at low RPM. I'm wondering if anyone has a Mini Mill with the 10K option and if it feels under-powered at all with just 7.5hp? Is there any other reason I should maybe consider not getting that option?

The torque & HP curve actually seem better with the 10K option except for very low RPM work. Is maybe tapping going to be a problem?

I'd really like a super but I only have 1phase power and don't want a phase converter.

Thanks in advance!
