Hello all,
We are getting a 185 alarm when hooking up the HRT310 rotary. It is a brush type rotary going thru a Haas conversion box hooking to a 2008 VF4.Disconnecting the cable at the rotary and checking continuity to the plug ends the cable seems to be ok. Is it possible to test an encoder on a Haas rotary?

Have you selected the proper unit in the settings?

Have you selected the proper unit in the settings?

Yes. We are using the plain 350 rotary setting (brush type) because we are running this thru the Haas converter box that allows us to use a brush type rotary in a "brushless" machine. This is the same setting we have used before.
