Yeah, Haas is stupid---Right!
They did provide a way to restart your program at any position in it, probably just for such occasions.
anyone know how to reset an alarm without resetting your program?
for example, i'm running a program and about 10 minutes into i pause and blow out chips, but accidentally trigger a low air pressure alarm - now i'm screwed! the only way to get the program to start again is to get rid of the alarm, and the only way to get rid of the alarm is to hit the reset button, which resets the program!
am i stupid, or is haas stupid? what am i missing here?

its a learning process...
thanks! that's exactly what i needed to know.
Stupid Haas even had this feature on the older machines/controls , same setting number. (you did not say what year your mill is) If you don't have a copy of your manual, I would go online and download a digital copy.
Good luck

You can also change setting 31 to off and when you hit reset it does not change the position of the pointer in the program and also turn on setting 36 for Program restart.
