    Default HAAS P-Cool

I can hear constant air coming from my P-Cool, I took the cover off and along with the wiring there's a small 1/8" tube blowing air non stop.

What is the purpose of this?

Can I plug it? I know its very small, but overnight it drains my air compressor and I feel like my air compressor turns on more often than it needs too.

hi , by p-cool I assume it's the programmable coolant nozzle?
I know air flows through the spindle bearings for a long time to oil the bearings and prevent coolant ingress into the bearings
are you sure it's through the programmable coolant?

Positive its coming from the P-Cool (programmable coolant) as in my initial post I stated "I took the cover off and along with the wiring there's a small 1/8" tube blowing air non stop."

Very strange even just checked my spare one and it doesn't have an air fitting I thought was only power cable and coolant feed to them
Can you locate the actuator that switches the air on and off ?

Took the cover off today and took a picture, red arrow pointing at it......it never stops blowing air.....haven't had a chance to route the tube to where it comes from.

Someone probably added it to maintain positive pressure to keep coolant out.

So where is the other end of the tube located? Could you have a leak somewhere else but notice it on this end.
