94 Haas VCE 750 / VF-1 z-axis noise

Hi guys! Im having a chance to buy a 1994 Haas VCE 750 (I believe this is a European labeled VF-1?). A lot seem good about the machine, but the z axis is producing a rumbling noise, see below for video.

Would this be the z-axis motor bearing pack or something more severe? Would I be able to swap that myself; what would be the the cost of that?

probably bearing pack stick the serial nmber into haas website and will give you a breakdown and cost
