Hi,

So, i was just adding a programme to our mini mill when all of a sudden the spindle dropped down, managed to stop it before it crashed into the vice! I then got a message on the screen saying "overvoltage shutdown" and "unexpected exception". I turned the machine off and powered up again, i now get a white screen with the Haas logo and a message saying "Caution! Warmup compensation specified! Do you wish to continue (Y/N)? When i press yes it then takes me to the alarm screen where it shows a 254 Spindle motor overheat alarm, it then counts down on a timer before powering down the machine. Has anyone experienced this before? I have contacted Haas but they cant get an engineer out for 2 weeks!

Thanks
