Default Haas Work shift Cal/Measure Function

    Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and new to Haas machines. Lots of knowledgeable people here.
Most of my experience is with Okuma and Fanuc machines . I now have a Haas VF3 to learn (1999 vintage).Nice machine, easy to get going with some cool features.

Can anyone point me in the right direction with setting my work shift coordinates. Its easy to "Zero" them with the set button and that works fine for 90% of the time.

If I want to use a position other than Zero to set. For example I have a hole at X100. on an Okuma I'd simple use Calculate X100. input or a Fanuc id use the Measure button.

Can this be done on my Haas without Zeroing out the position and moving alone the right amount?

    Thanks in advance
