I’m currently running VF2SS. At least 50% of the time whe tool changes. I get an alarm “unexpected surface”

Do you have a probe if so here are what can be the fixes

Interference from the work lights. ( Adjust the work lights )

Settings in the work probe are not correct. ( Correct the settings. )

The surface of the part was found, when not expected. ( Edit the program. )

Occurs if the probe is already triggered before a move or triggered while positioning the ( Clear faults and restart from safe position, check if chips are trapped around probe eyelids )
probe or tool.
