New to cnc…first cut. Simple 3 pass cut to take 1.5” down to 1.3” in fusion 360. Used tool probe to touch off tools. Used Z face. Ran program and everything seemed right except the X. It’s about 3” from workpiece so no cutting occurs. I assumed the machine knew where the X centerline was and fusion would communicate the diameter. Am I supposed to use the X measure diameter every time? Sorry…I said I was new…lol. In the G code it show movement on X axis of like 2.3” from home but it should be more.
