Haas ST10 BOT tool hoder with split style clamping

Like the title says, looking for someone who offers them, I am needing it to hold a 1" fully round anti-vibration boring bar, if anyone can share a source I would be very grateful as my google searches, and reaching out to my local HFO have yielded nothing...

Hi,

Don't think you can find them for the ST10 series ( BOT40 ? ), what size ID toolholder (biggest) you have, there are spit bushings ( type B ) which can be a solution.
I think you need at least a 1¼" or 1½" standard ID toolholder.
Google for ---- " tool holder bushing type B ".

I would agree at this point, I don't think anyone offers them for the ST10. The split bushing looks to be the best available option, ordered one this morning so I will soon know...

My being new to lathes I am very limited in my knowledge of what is available as far as tools and holders, so I am very grateful for you taking the time to respond!

There are other tool manufacturers for the BOT-turrets but non with the split holder I think, I looked around but couldn't find one.
Google "HAAS ST10 BOT toolholder " and you find sites like HAAS, Kintek, EWS, BENZ, Cutwel etc.

I've seen a few folks that use the quiet boring bars just take and saw a split down one side of the BOT boring bar holder. The bolts that secure it to the turret clamp the bar as well. I haven't done it but I've seen others do it. They say it works way better than a split bushing.
